Culver Community School Board Approves School Improvement Plans

The Culver Community School Board received information last week on the School Improvement Plans for the Elementary School and Middle/High School.

Superintendent Karen Shuman said the building principals took time to explain the plans to the board.

“Their biggest desire is to help student growth with a five percent increase from what they had achieved before,” stated Shuman. “That’s like an individual student so they’re going to have to try to implement strategies where students are getting more one-on-one strategies to improve their overall growth.  Those strategies will be different per student group based on their needs.”

Following the presentation, the board approved the plans as presented.
