The Bremen Town Council will be repeating the budget process and holding the first of several special meetings today to complete the process.
The budget process is being repeated in an effort to realize additional levy, under the recommendation from the Department of Local Government Finance, according to Bremen Clerk-Treasurer Janet Anglemyer.
Today’s special meeting is at 4:30 p.m. ET at the Bremen Town Hall at 104 W. Plymouth Street to discuss the 2023 budget. The second special meeting will include a public hearing on Tuesday, October 18 at 4:30 p.m. ET at the Bremen Town Hall, and then the third special meeting will be Tuesday, November 1 at 4:30 p.m. ET for the budget adoption.
The public notice on the Indiana Gateway website will be published Wednesday, October 5.
