The Bremen Public School Board members adopted the 2023 budget, Capital Projects Plan, and Bus Replacement Plan during their meeting last week.
According to the notice on the Indiana Gateway website, the Referendum Fund shows $452,300, the Debt Service Fund at $1,975,000, Education Fund at $9,906,207, and the Operations Fund at $4,510,970.
The total of all funds is $16,844,477.
Some of the Capital Projects in the three-year plan adopted by the board include parking lot resurfacing, sidewalk replacement, facility repairs, and other infrastructure repairs.
The school district also plans to replace two school buses for each of the five years listed in the Bus Replacement Plan.
The budget will now be submitted to the Department of Local Government Finance for review and a determination of a tax rate.
