This year’s Distinguished Young Woman of Triton is Anna McIntyre. She and five other young ladies sought the title and for college scholarships in the event Saturday, October 8 at the Triton Performing Arts Center.
McIntyre, along with fellow contestants Kinsey Atkins, Lilee Stetzel, Olivia Shively, Emily Jones, and Kaitlyn Jackson were judged on Scholastics, Interview, Talent, Fitness, and Self-Expression.
McIntyre was presented with a $1,200 scholarship, the DYW medallion, and a plaque commemorating the 59th winner of Triton’s Distinguished Young Woman program. She will participate in Indiana’s 2023 Distinguished Young Woman program February 12, 2023 for the state title.
All six contestants were able to receive scholarship money from the event.
