The La Porte County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the disappearance of 17-year-old Lauren Schmidt from Mill Creek and a statewide Silver Alert has been issued regarding her case.
Schmidt is 5 feet 4 inches tall, 120 pounds, with brown and blond hair and blue eyes. She was last seen on Thursday, September 22 at 4 p.m. CT wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black sweatpants.
She is believed to be in danger.
