Plymouth Community School Board to Meet Tonight

The Plymouth Community School Board will hold a budget workshop tonight at 7 p.m. ET where the proposed budgets will be presented for review and for permission to advertise the 2023 budget. 

Following the budget workshop, the board will hold a collective bargaining public hearing where comments will be taken concerning the collective bargaining process and the salaries and benefits of teachers at the corporation. 

Following the hearing, the board will go into their regular meeting where they will receive a report on the alternative school, consider an addendum to the State Agency – School Food Authority Agreement, review the presence learning agreement, and an independent contractor agreement. The annual transportation route and safety policy review will be presented by Superintendent Mitch Mawhorter, and he will present revisions to the classified condition of employment, and eLearning Day revisions to the student handbook.  The teacher evaluation plan, and annual Teacher Appreciation Grant will be considered for approval.

The board is anticipated to accept bids for Plymouth High School and Riverside Intermediate School upgrades. 

The Plymouth Community School Board will meet at 7 p.m. ET tonight in the Board Room in the Administration Building at 611 Berkley Street in Plymouth.
