The Plymouth City Council opened a public hearing last week on the 2023 budget.
According to information on Indiana Gateway, the General Fund is estimated at about $9.4 million, Motor Vehicle Highway Fund at about $2.5 million, Local Road and Street Fund at $350,000, Park and Recreation at about $1.3 million, Aviation/Airport at $267,000, Cemetery Fund at $566,000, Cumulative Capital Development Fund at $170,000, TIF Funds, and other grant funds and special funds. The total budget is about $22.9 million.
The council members commented on the ease of the budget discussions and reviews. There were no other public comments.
The budget adoption is set for Monday, September 26 at 6:30 p.m. ET in the Council Chambers Room in the Plymouth City Building at 124 N. Michigan Street.
