Three people were injured in an accident Saturday afternoon involving two vehicles in the area of U.S. 6 and Dogwood Road in Marshall County.
According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, 28-year-old Drew Schramm of Warsaw was traveling southbound on Dogwood Road and reportedly failed to stop at the intersection of U.S. 6 and yield to the right-of-way of traffic on U.S. 6. Schramm’s vehicle struck the side of a 2017 Nissan Rogue driven by 51-year-old Jeremy Nusbaum of Nappanee, according to the report. Police say the impact caused Nusbaum’s vehicle to leave the roadway and roll over.
Schramm, Nusbaum, and a passenger in Nusbaum’s vehicle were transported by EMS for medical evaluation.
