
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department will host a firearms safety course Saturday, September 17.
Sheriff Matt Hassel says the 9 a.m. ET course will begin with classroom training related to safety concepts, legal issues, handling, storage, carrying, and fundamentals of shooting. The class will break for lunch and then meet at a local firearms range to practice with certified instructors.
The course is free.
