A juvenile was arrested in Indianapolis Wednesday, August 10 following an investigation into the theft of a vehicle from the Centennial Park Office in Plymouth.
Plymouth Police Department officers were dispatched to the Centennial Park Office Wednesday morning to investigate a call about a stolen vehicle. Police say the suspect entered a window in the office and reportedly stole a city-owned truck that was parked in the garage.
During the investigation, the truck was spotted by a Flock camera in the Indianapolis area on Wednesday just before 10 a.m. ET and the male juvenile suspect was later arrested by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department after he allegedly broke into an apartment that afternoon, according to the report.
The suspect was placed into a juvenile detention facility in Marion County.
Plymouth Police officers say the suspect was reported to the Police Department as a runaway from a group home in Plymouth on August 9. The juvenile is not a resident of the Marshall County area, according to the report.
