Culver Community School Treasurer/Business Manager Casey Howard presented a budget schedule to the school board Monday night for advertising purposes in order to get the proposed 2023 budget online for public review and a public hearing scheduled.
The 2023 Capital Projects Plan, Bus Replacement Plan, and the budget will be advertised on the school website, as well as on Indiana Gateway.
Once the all documents are published, the public has an opportunity to view them and then make comments during a public hearing set during the school board meeting on September 19 at 7 p.m. ET at the Culver Administration Building. The board voted to adopt the budget on Wednesday, October 5. The regular meeting night is Monday, October 3, but it is also the time when the state conference is scheduled, so the board decided to move the budget adoption date to October 5 to ensure all members will be available to vote and sign the budget adoption resolution.
With that change, the board approved the budget advertisement schedule.
