Two people were injured in an accident at the intersection of U.S. 31 and State Road 10 in Argos Thursday, July 21.
According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, witnesses described to officers that a red Ram pickup driven by 62-year-old Nancy Powell of Argos was traveling south on U.S. 31 at 3:44 p.m. ET, and was turning east on State Road 10 in Argos. As the truck crossed the median, it reportedly struck a gray GMC Acadia driven by 35-year-old Michael Turner of Muncie traveling northbound on U.S. 31.
Police say the Acadia was forced off the road and into the eastside ditch with full airbag deployment. The pickup rolled one complete time onto the passenger side before coming to rest on all four wheels in the east shoulder of U.S. 31 in the northbound lane, according to the report.
Both drivers were transported the hospital for further medical treatment.
