Two Arrested on Impaired Driving Charges Following Marshall County Accident

Two people were arrested Saturday, July 2 after a single vehicle accident at the intersection of 15th Road and Jarrah Road in Marshall County.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was notified of the accident shortly before 4:30 a.m. ET where police reportedly found that a vehicle hit a utility pole.

One responding officer found the driver, 21-year-old Joshua Dye, to be under the influence of alcohol, according to the report. Police say field sobriety testing was conducted and a certified blood draw later showed Dye to be three times over the legal limit of alcohol.

Dye was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle with a BAC of .15 or more and operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangerment.  He was later released from the Marshall County Jail.

Prior to the arrival of officers, a woman arrived at the scene to assist Dye, according to the report. The person was identified as Jennifer Conley who was allegedly found to be under the influence of alcohol after police say field sobriety tests were conducted along with a certified blood draw.

Conley was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle with a BAC of .08 to .15 and operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangerment. She was later released from the Marshall County Jail.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless or until proven guilty in a court of law.
