Organizers of The REES Theater grand reopening event continue to plan for the occasion which begins October 1.
Dinner on the Street will be featured Saturday, October 1 which will include the dedication of the Bob Pickell Performing Arts Stage and a performance by Denver Bierman and the Mile High Orchestra.
Whiskey, Wisdom and Trivial Tidbits will be featured Tuesday, October 4 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET where a handful of the founders of the REES will relate trials and tribulations of the remodeling, what choices were made and more information about the origins of the building. A lot of the information will be supplied by the Marshall County Historical Museum that will also feature an exhibit called “Marshall County at the Movies”. The emcee for the event will be MAX 98.3 FM morning show host Tony Ross.
