Community Crossings paving projects should start around August 15 in the Town of Bremen.
Bremen Street Superintendent Austin Langdon told the Bremen Town Council members Monday that the projects were moved back to accommodate other projects affecting other areas around schools prior to the start of school.
The projects will include curbs and sidewalks, and a bike lane on Woodies Lane from 3rd Road to Plymouth Street. A crosswalk will also be installed. Work will also be done in the 200 block of E. Maple Street, and a portion of the road behind CVS.
Langdon said he plans on working with Jones Petrie and Rafinski officials to complete a list of projects to be included in the upcoming application of the next round of Community Crossings Matching Grant funds.
