Marshall County Sheriff Matt Hassel announced a new deputy sheriff this week.
Devin Johnson will serve in that position. He has been employed by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department as a turnkey/dispatcher since November 2020.
Johnson is a graduate of Triton High School and Indiana University South Bend with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice.
Marshall County Clerk Debbie VanDeMark read Johnson the Oath of Office and swore him into office on Monday, July 18.
