The John Glenn School Board members were updated on school building projects that have taken place over the summer.
Superintendent Christopher Winchell said efforts are being done to make sure all is ready for the first day of school Wednesday, August 10.
Winchell commented, “We’ve done a lot of painting, polishing of floors, carpet replacement, technology upgrades in the classrooms with interactive boards, and all the teachers have new computers. We’re really proud of the shape that our buildings are in right now. Our team has done a great job.”
Winchell added that the board also took action to approve Athletic, Elementary Student, and Certified Staff Handbooks during their meeting this week.
