The Culver Lakefest begins today for a three-day event in the Town of Culver.
It all begins at 4 p.m. ET with food, arts, crafts, commercial booths and games. The Miss Maxinkuckee Pageant begins at 6 p.m. with crowning at 8 p.m., the storm drain mural reveal is across from the festival information booth at 6:30 p.m. ET and live entertainment is at 8 p.m. ET at the West Pavilion.
Saturday’s events include the Lion’s Club all you can eat breakfast inside the Depot Building at 8 a.m., the Waves of Freedom run at 8:15 a.m., Culver Farmer’s Market from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., parade registration at 9 a.m. with the parade at 10 a.m., family contests at noon, Fireman’s Waterball Contest at the Culver-Union Township Fire Department Building at 1:30 p.m., a hot dog eating contest at 2:30 p.m., a cornhole tournament at 4 p.m. with registration an hour before the event, live entertainment at the Damore Amphitheatre at 5 p.m., and the spectacular fireworks live broadcast on MAX 98.3 FM with Morning Show Host Tony Ross beginning at 8:30 p.m. with fireworks to begin at 10 p.m. ET.
Sunday’s activities include the Bass Fishing Tournament at 6:30 a.m. with registration an hour before the event, yoga on the beach at 8 a.m., the Lion’s Club breakfast at 8 a.m., the car show at 9 a.m., live entertainment, and the 3-on-3 basketball tournament at 10:30 a.m. with registration at 10 a.m. ET.
Vendors open at 9 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday and Plein Air artists will be featured throughout the weekend.
Culver Lakefest closes at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 17.
