Plymouth Man Arrested on Warrant for Theft, Burglary Charges

An Indiana State Police investigation resulted in the arrest of a Plymouth man.

The investigation began June 13 after Indiana State Police Troopers in the Peru District received information that a workshop and office of a Fulton County business in rural Rochester was allegedly burglarized.

Police say evidence was discovered that led to probable cause for a Fulton County arrest warrant for 24-year-old Jon Sailors III, of Plymouth.

Officers with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department served Sailors with the warrant Friday, June 17 at his home in Plymouth, according to the report.  The warrant alleges two counts of theft and a single charge of burglary.

Sailors is incarcerated in the Fulton County Jail without bond.  Before this arrest, police say he was out on bonds for separate criminal charges.  Those bonds have been revoked, according to the report.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless or until proven guilty in a court of law.
