More Candidates File for Office in Marshall County to Fill General Election Ballot Vacancies

More candidates have decided to fill vacancies on the November General Election ballot in Marshall County. 

Locally, Democrat Jason Haines has filed for Marshall County Commissioner District 1. He will face Republican Stan Klotz on the General Election ballot.  Democrat Dustin Schafer filed for Marshall County Council District 4.  He will be up against Republican Adam Faulstich. 

Democrat Jenny Nowalk filed for Union Township Board Member, joining Lynn Christ on the Democratic ballot. They will run against Republicans Terri Jo Morrison Hinds, Michael L. Overmyer, and Shirley A. Snyder for the three available seats on that Township Board.

On the state level, Democrat Zenai Brooks and Republican Tera K. Klutz filed for Auditor of State, Republican Diego Morales filed for Secretary of State, and Republican Daniel Elliott and Democrat Jessica McClellan filed for Treasurer of State.

Party Chairpersons have until Tuesday, July 5 to fill any vacancies on the November General Election ballot.
