Plymouth Mayor Mark Senter recently announced the return of the Mayor’s Month of Music in River Park Square.
The event will feature music every Friday through the month of August and the first Friday in September.
The Mayor’s Month of Music began in 2015 as a way to show off the park with free, family-friendly entertainment in the park and it has grown to feature regional acts on the stage and local food vendors.
The Mayor’s Office has once again joined forces with the Plymouth High School Alumni Association to create an all-school reunion on the first concert night August 5 with music from The Bishops.
The 1985 Band will be featured on August 12, Cornfield Mafia on August 19, WYSIWYG (What You See is What You Get) on August 26, and Kennedy’s Kitchen on September 2. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket and a cooler of beverages to River Park Square for all of the concerts.
