Marshall County Highway Department to Conduct Chip Seal Work Next Week

The Marshall County Highway Department will be chip sealing several roads next week.

Chip seal work will be done on Plymouth-LaPorte Trail from County Line Road to Queen on Monday, June 20.  Tuesday’s schedule includes Union Road from U.S. 30 to 9C Road, and Tomahawk Trail.  Tomahawk is also scheduled for Wednesday, June 22, along with Millpond, and 14th Road from State Road 17 to Olive.  Work will continue on 14th Road on Thursday, June 23 with the potential of work to be done on 18th Road from Queen to Peach.

Highway Department officials ask drivers to use caution when traveling on these roads following the application as there will be loose stone, oil and tar. Drive slowly and watch for highway workers during the process.
