The Culver Community School Board members took action Monday night on the proposed wage and salary schedule for the 2022-2023 school year, with information provided by Superintendent Karen Shuman.
“For the most part, we have made the base pay $15 per hour for every hourly employee. We’ve also increased bus drivers to $100 a day for a route and $90 if they do not have a CDL. Every other position whether they’re at a year or three years have been bumped up correctly according to the typical pay raise of scale,” said Shuman.
She commented that this change would make Culver Community School Corporation more competitive with wages.
The school board approved the wage and salary schedule with a unanimous vote.
