Candidates File to Fill Vacancies on General Election Ballot in Marshall County

Several candidates have filed for office to fill vacancies on the November General Election ballot in Marshall County.

In local races, Democrat Bobbi Reinhold filed for Marshall County Clerk. She will face Republican Jenny S. Bennitt in the November General Election.  Democrat Stephen Barber filed for North Township Advisory Board member.  He joins Steven M. Davenport on the Democrat ticket. No Republicans have filed for that office. 

On the state level, Libertarian Party candidate John Andrew Schick filed for Auditor of State; Libertarian Jeffrey Maurer, Disability Party candidate Andrew Straw, and Green Party candidate David Wetterer filed for Secretery of State; Independent Party candidate Mike Hubbard filed for Second District U.S. Representative; and Independent candidate Haneefah Khaaliq and Libertarian candidate James M. Sceniak filed for Indiana U.S. Senator.

Party Chairpersons have until Tuesday, July 5 to fill any vacancies on the November General Election ballot.
