The Bremen Town Council members had a moment of silence during their meeting Monday afternoon to recognize the life of David Holmes.
Holmes passed away Monday, June 20 after a lengthy illness. Bremen Town Council President Michael Leman emotionally noted that Holmes was a pillar of the Bremen community and served the community proudly. He was the former Marshall County Prosecutor and was the town attorney for the Town of Bremen for a number of years. Holmes also served as the Marshall County Republican Chairman.
Leman said there will be something planned in the future for a celebration of life for Holmes on behalf of the town.
Funeral mass for David Holmes is Thursday, June 30 at 11 a.m. ET at the St. Dominic Catholic Church with visitation Wednesday, June 29 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. ET at the Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen.
