The Bremen Police Department is hosting a Firearms Safety Course July 23 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Bremen Police Department at 123 Center Street.
According to the Police Department’s Facebook page, there will be a two hour classroom portion to help develop a personal and home protection plan, and a two hour live fire range session.
Participants will need to bring a handgun, 50 rounds of ammunition, eye and ear protection, brimmed hat, closed toe shoes, sun screen, bug spray, and a pen and notebook.
An application and waiver must be signed prior to the course date. The application may be picked up at the Bremen Police Department or online and turned into the Bremen Police Department dispatch.
The cost of the class is $20 and it is limited to 15 people, aged 18 and older. Applicants will be taken on a first come, first served basis.
