The three-day Argos Summer Kickoff Festival starts Friday evening at 5 p.m. ET in the Community Park at 560 W. Walnut Street.
The antique tractor ride begins at the Marshall County Fairgrounds at 5:30 p.m., the KALITA magic show starts at 6 p.m. at the North Pavilion, pageant registration is at 6 p.m. with the event at 6:30 p.m. for kids ages 3-5 and 6-8. The movie in the park is at 10 p.m.
Saturday’s events include the Argos Summer Festival parade at 10:30 a.m., the kids fishing derby at noon, the cornhole tournament at 2 p.m. at the south basketball court, and the fireworks at 10:15 p.m. Music and entertainment will be available on the center stage all afternoon and evening.
Activities continue Sunday with the balloon toss at 11 a.m., the community church service at noon, the pedal tractor pull registration at 12:30 p.m. with the event at 1 p.m., the money scramble for kids at 2:30 p.m. and the magic show at 3:15 p.m. The festival ends at 4 p.m. ET.
