The Triton School Board members reviewed information about the upcoming bond sale following a presentation from Baker Tilly representative Sean McGill Monday night.
Superintendent Jeremy Riffle said the board members approved permission to move forward with the sale to complete several projects next year.
Riffle stated, “There will be renovation of our elementary office and high school office due to adding staff and making those doors a little bit more secure and safe, auditorium upgrades, high school electrical upgrades, and door replacements at a couple of our entrances that are struggling with some settling and stuff like that.”
While that work is expected to take place in 2023, Riffle said a few minor projects are set to take place this summer.
Riffle continued, “All of our parking lots will be redone. We’ll have some cement work done at the varsity football field, varsity baseball field, and some ancillary areas around our different sidewalks – pretty minor projects.”
