The railroad crossing on State Road 331 between Illion Street and 19th Road in Tippecanoe will be closed for repairs on or after Tuesday, May 31.
Indiana Department of Transportation officials say Norfolk Southern crews will be replacing rails at the crossing which is expected to take approximately 11 days.
Motorists are encouraged to seek an alternate route during this time. The official detour will follow State Road 10, State Road 19 and State Road 25.
