Plymouth Man Arrested after Shots Fired Complaint

A Plymouth man was arrested Monday evening after an investigation by the Plymouth Police Department concerning an alleged complaint of shots fired.

Police say the incident occurred in the 700 block of Ferndale just before 7 p.m. ET.  The suspect, 22-year-old Dennis Arnold, was apprehended a short distance from the original scene of the complaint, according to the report.  Arnold was taken to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked on a preliminary charge of criminal recklessness with a firearm. 

No one was injured and the case remains under investigation.

The Plymouth Police Department was assisted by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, Indiana State Police, and Plymouth Fire Department. 

Suspects are presumed innocent until or unless proven guilty in a court of law.
