Plymouth School Board to Meet Tonight

The Plymouth School Board will meet tonight where they will have a public hearing concerning an additional appropriation.

The additional appropriation is for proceeds of the General Obligation Bonds of 2022 for the renovation of and improvements to school facilities, including site improvements, solar installation and the purchase of equipment and technology in the amount of about $5.6 million.  Once the hearing is conducted, the board will consider the approval of documents completing the additional appropriation process.

The hearing is set for 7 p.m. ET.

The board will open the regular meeting agenda following the public hearing where they will receive information on NIPSCO agreements, and the Indiana Adult Education Continuation Assurance Agreement.

The board will also consider summer school programs, grant application requests, selection for curriculum adoptions, and a resolution to transfer dormant fund balances.

Superintendent Mitch Mawhorter is also anticipated to have other updates for the school board.

Both the public hearing and the regular meeting will be held in the Board Room in the Administration Building at 611 Berkley Street in Plymouth.
