John Glenn School Board Clarifies Paperwork on Property Donation to Building Trades Class

The John Glenn School Board members held a discussion last week that concerns a John Glenn Building Trades project.

Superintendent Christopher Winchell explained that the matter was simply a paperwork clarification.

“The Hiler family generously donated a piece of property to the Building Trades for the construction of a spec house this year,” stated Winchell.  “When that property got donated it actually got donated to the John Glenn School Corporation and so we need to change that title work from the John Glenn School Corporation to the John Glenn Building Trades.”

The paperwork will be forwarded to the John Glenn Building Trades Board members for approval at their next meeting.

Board member Dennis Holland, who is also on the Building Trades Board, said the donation of the property occurred during a Building Trades Board meeting.

The John Glenn School Board members approved the paperwork as presented.
