The Bremen Public School Board members considered textbook rental fees when they met last week.
Superintendent Dr. Jim White said fees for Elementary School students could be seen as a big increase.
“At a prior board meeting, the teachers recommended a book that was fairly expensive for Math and so we’re going to increase, depending on the grade, from somewhere around $110 and $120 to $170 because of that adoption,” stated Dr. White.
The board approved the textbook rental fees as presented. They also approved the supply list for kindergarten through 8th grade for the upcoming school year.
