Two Rochester residents were arrested Monday, March 21 on suspicion of drug dealing and drug possession after the execution of a search warrant at a Rochester residence.
About a week ago, according to the Indiana State Police, a narcotics investigation was initiated about possible illegal drug activity occurring at an apartment in Rochester. During the investigation, the investigator applied for a Fulton Circuit Court search warrant for the location in question.
The search warrant was executed Monday where Indiana State Police troopers found 24-year-old Seth Newcomb and 20-year-old Lazarus R. Hernandez, according to the report. Police say a search of the residence allegedly found approximately one pound of methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin, THC vape cartridges, two long guns, $4,259 in cash, and drug paraphernalia.
Both suspects were arrested and taken to the Fulton County Jail. Newcomb and Hernandez face preliminary charges of dealing methamphetamine, dealing cocaine, dealing heroin, possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine, possession of heroin, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia.
Suspects are presumed innocent until or unless proven guilty in a court of law.
