Two people were injured in a Monday afternoon accident in the area of B Road near Beech Road in Marshall County.
Officers from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department say 25-year-old Jeremiah Kaufman from Bremen was driving a red farm tractor westbound on B Road just before 3 p.m. ET while a passenger van driven by 50-year-old Edward L. Weirich of Wakarusa was traveling east on the same road. Weirich came to a stop on B Road while Kaufman traveled down the center of the roadway, according to the report. Weirich and witnesses reportedly told police that the tractor’s left rear tire struck the front end of Weirich’s vehicle causing it to rollover.
Both drivers were transported by EMS with injuries.
