Starke County had three new COVID-19 cases and Marshall County had one new case in Tuesday’s update from the Indiana Department of Health. There were 212 new cases in the state in that update.
Another eight people in the state have died of COVID-19.
Almost 57 percent of Hoosiers are fully vaccinated. About 48 percent of Marshall County and Pulaski County residents are fully vaccinated, while 42 percent of Starke County residents are fully vaccinated.
Many public places do not require mask wearing any longer, but many medical facilities, like those associated with Pulaski Memorial Hospital and Northwest Health, and others, continue to enforce mask wearing as healthcare workers care for a vulnerable population.
