CDC Lifts Mask Requirement on Buses Vans Operated by Public or Private School Systems

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released a statement Friday, February 25 that masks are no longer required on buses or vans operated by public or private school systems, which includes early care and education/child care programs.

Marshall County Health Department noted that the CDC is making this change to align with the updated mask guidance that no longer requires that students and teachers wear masks in K-12 schools and early education settings.

School officials may choose to require the wearing of masks on buses or vans.
