A Winter Storm Warning will be in effect Wednesday, February 2, at 1 a.m. ET until Thursday, February 3, at 7 p.m. ET with estimated snow totals of 12-14 inches through Thursday.
Winds blowing 15-20 mph on Thursday will cause white out conditions and drifting on roads. Roads may be impassable with low visbility. Cold temperatures and subzero wind chills will follow Thursday night into the weekend.
According to the Marshall County Emergency Management Agency, wet, heavy snow is expected to fall Wednesday and the weight of that snow may cause damage to structures, and damage to trees and tree branches that could result in power outages.
