Four counties in the state are now in the orange status on the Indiana Department of Health’s County Metrics map, including Pulaski County, which means a high community spread of COVID-19. The other counties are Lake, LaGrange, and Adams. The rest of the state is still in the red status which means a very high community spread of COVID-19.
In Friday’s update from the Indiana Department of Health, there were 14 new COVID-19 cases reported in Pulaski County, 13 in Marshall County and three in Starke County. They were among 2,839 people in the state who have tested positive with COVID-19 between January 29 and February 10.
Another 108 people in the state have died of COVID-19, including one person in Marshall County and one person in Pulaski County.
The number of COVID-19 patients in hospitals around the state is down to 1,932 which is the first time the census has been under 2,000 since November 26.
