PLYMOUTH — Plymouth Building Commissioner Keith Hammonds confirmed to the Plymouth Board of Public Works that the house on the property of the Red Rock Inn located at 2550 North Michigan St., Plymouth has been demolished by the property owner, as ordered.

The owner of Sunrise Hotel of Plymouth Inc. Nilesh Kantibhal Patel has made several improvements and renovations to the hotel portion of the building that runs north and south, formerly deemed a nuisance. Those improvements included new floors, new carpet, new light fixtures and paint. New bathroom fixtures are pending. “It looks pretty darn good to be honest with you. I was really shocked.” said Hammonds.
