The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the area from 6 p.m. ET tonight until Saturday, February 19 at 10 a.m. ET.
Areas of blowing and drifting snow are expected which will result in snow covered roads, reduced visibility and hazardous travel conditions in open areas.
If travel is necessary, slow down, give extra time to reach a destination and adjust following distance.
