More Candidates File for 2022 Primary Election in Marshall County

More candidates have filed for the 2022 Primary Election in the Marshall County Clerk’s Office and candidates have until noon ET today (Monday, February 7) to file for office.

As of last week, the new candidate filings include Republican Jenny S. Bennitt for Marshall County Circuit Court Clerk, Republican Joy D. Hensley for Marshall County Circuit Court Clerk, Republican Deborah Johnson filed for Marshall County Council District 2 and for State Convention Delegate, Democrat Michael J. Leda for State Convention Delegate and Precinct Committeeman, Republican Paul Levett filed for State Convention Delegate, Republican N. Ruth Nelson filed for State Convention Delegate, Republican Shawn E. Peterson for State Convention Delegate, Republican Sam Schlosser for State Convention Delegate, Republican Laura Ann-Vervynckt for State Convention Delegate, Democrat Whitney Gray Stillson for German Township Advisory Board and Precinct Committeeman, Republican Les McFarland for Bourbon Town Council, Democrat Cynthia Martin Milner for Center Township Advisory Board, Republican Michael Overmyer filed for Union Township Advisory Board, Republican David L. Stults filed for Walnut Township Advisory Board, Republican Shawnda Wenino filed for Green Township Advisory Board, Republican Emily Haskins filed for North Township Trustee, Republican Michael C. Norris filed for Polk Township Trustee, Democrat Stephen Kurant and Democrat Paul Steury filed for U.S. Representative Second District; and Democrat Valerie McCray, and Democrat Thomas McDermott filed for Indiana State Senator.
