PLYMOUTH — The Plymouth Community School Corporation (PCSC) board adopted transfer student capacity and the deadline for the 2022-2023 academic school year at the February meeting.
The deadline to request a transfer for a student to PCSC is June 1.
Capacities for PCSC students for the 2022-2023 year are set at 325 kindergarten students, 325 students per grade for Grades 1 through 8, and unlimited capacity for High School grades 9 through 12.
Students requesting transfer will be recommended for acceptance by the board at their next meeting following receipt of their application.
If the total number of students requesting transfer exceeds the capacity per grade level; a lottery will be held at the next board meeting to determine recommendation for acceptance.
PCSC Superintendent Mitchell Mawhorter informed the board that the State of Indiana requires each School District to declare their intentions on the acceptance of transfer students. That information has been published on the PCSC website at www.plymouth.k12.in.us.
