Forty New COVID-19 Cases Reported in Tri-County Area

There were 40 new COVID-19 cases reported in the tri-county area in Tuesday’s update from the Indiana Department of Health.  There were 20 new cases in Marshall County, 10 new cases in Starke County and 10 new cases in Pulaski County.  They were among 5,655 new cases reported statewide between January 19 and January 31.

Another 131 people have died of COVID-19 from January 22 to January 31, including one person in Marshall County and one person in Pulaski County.  

Almost 100 people were admitted into hospitals Monday as the state’s hospital census increased to 2,792.
