Five New COVID-19 Cases Reported Locally

The COVID-19 case numbers are dwindling around the state.  There were 468 new cases reported in the state from Saturday and Sunday with two new cases in Marshall County, two new cases in Starke County and one new case in Pulaski County.

There were no new deaths in Monday’s update from the Indiana Department of Health. 

The number of COVID-19 patients in hospitals around the state has reduced dramatically.  Sunday’s census was 1,093, according to the Indiana Department of Health’s coronavirus website.  More than 20 percent of ICU beds in the state are now available when it was less than 10 percent a month ago.
