The Bourbon Town Council will meet in special session this afternoon to open bids for Community Crossings Matching Grant projects.
The Town of Bourbon received matching grant funds for pavement overlay on Sunset Drive from State Road 331 to Washington Street, Washington Street from Park Avenue to Jefferson Street, and Jefferson Street from Washington Street to Harris Street. Several streets will be resurfaced including Thayer Street from Sunset Drive to Liberty Avenue, Thompson Street from North Street to Park Avenue, East Liberty Avenue from Thompson Street to State Road 331, and East Liberty Avenue from North Harris Street to Triton Drive. Work on Thompson Street and East Liberty Avenue will involve new sidewalks.
The bids will be opened at 4 p.m. ET today at the Bourbon Town Hall at 104 Park Avenue.
