Marshall County candidates wanting to file for office in the 2022 election may begin to do so today in the Marshall County Clerk’s Office.
The local positions up for election this year include Superior Court 3 Judge, County Commissioner District 1, County Council Districts 1-4, Assessor, Auditor, Clerk, Prosecutor, Recorder, Sheriff, all township trustees, and all township boards.
Democratic Precinct Committeemen will be elected in the Primary Election, along with at least nine Democrat and 14 Republican State Convention Delegates.
Two seats are open on the Argos Town Council, two seats on the Culver Town Council and one seat on the Bourbon Town Council.
Today is the first day to file, and the last day to file for office is Friday, February 4.
School Board members will file beginning July 27 and Lake of the Woods Regional Sewer District Board members will file in mid-July.
The Primary Election Day is Tuesday, May 3.
