Each year on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Indiana residents are invited to present legal questions to a lawyer during the Indiana State Bar Association’s annual “Talk to a Lawyer Today”.
Consultations are available throughout the state at different locations where residents can speak with a licensed attorney volunteering their time and experience during a 10-15 minute time frame to answer general questions and offer legal information.
Attorneys will be prepared to speak with callers about landlord-tenant issues, expungement, bankruptcy, child support, contract disputes, divorce, employment issues, immigration, and wills and estates.
Locally, in-person free legal consultations are planned at the St. Joseph Public Library at 304 S. Main Street in South Bend from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. ET. Other arrangements can be found at www.inbar.org/consultation.
