Another 8,533 people in the state have tested positive with COVID-19 from December 27 to January 3, including 34 people in Marshall County, 22 people in Starke County and 19 people in Pulaski County, according to Tuesday’s update from the Indiana Department of Health.
An additional 172 people have died of COVID-19 between December 19 through January 3, including one person in Marshall County and two people in Starke County.
The hospital census on the Department of Health’s coronavirus dashboard shows 3,207 COVID-19 patients in hospitals in the state.
