There were 16,563 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the state from December 31 to January 12 in Thursday’s update from the Indiana Department of Health. That number includes 75 cases in Marshall County, 36 cases in Starke County and 19 cases in Pulaski County.
Another 75 people in the state have died of COVID-19 from October 18 to January 12.
The total number of COVID-19 patients in hospitals around the state is 3,451 which is 37 less than the previous day’s census, according to the state’s coronavirus website.
